The short answer
A creator name can be prepared for trademark registration if it meets the protection requirements. But influencer is not a sufficient description of the services. Identify the actual services and products, together with the person or company that should own the trademark used in your business.
Describe the business rather than the job title
List what you earn money from: advertising campaigns for others, entertainment offerings or your own products. Influencer marketing may fall within class 35 and entertainment within class 41. Suitable wording depends on the actual activity; an entertaining advertisement does not automatically make every service you supply an entertainment service.
The IPI guidelines treat broadly described influencer services as insufficiently specific. Name the service delivered to the client or audience instead. Distinguish promoting third-party offerings from your own educational or entertainment offering. This preparation is more useful than collecting a long list of fashionable terms without understanding what each term would cover in the application.

Merchandise is not automatically covered by advertising
If you sell your own goods under the same name, those products need separate consideration. An entry for advertising services does not simply describe clothing, jewellery or other merchandise. Record each genuinely planned product group and distinguish the collection name from the channel name if they are different signs used for different parts of the business.
Do not plan around every aspiration for the next ten years. Identify products already being developed and how the sign will appear on them. Also check the rights to logos, illustrations and photographs. A trademark application alone does not establish which usage rights the creatives involved have granted to you under their agreements.

Record trademark ownership separately from account management
A social-media account, an agency mandate and a trademark registration perform different jobs. Agree in writing who arranges the application and who should appear as owner. An agency's access to your profile or responsibility for invoicing a campaign should not silently determine ownership of the brand around which your business is built.
Discuss the end of the relationship as well: who receives files, access credentials and contact details for trademark representatives? Who monitors official correspondence? Keep these arrangements separate from content planning. A management change can then be handled organisationally without having to reconstruct responsibility for the trademark only after a dispute has already arisen.

What you can do now
- Translate revenue sources into specific services and products.
- Record your own planned goods separately from advertising work.
- Agree expressly on the trademark owner and the agency's responsibilities.
Frequently asked questions
Can I simply list influencer as my service?
The IPI guidelines treat that description as too vague. Describe the actual work, such as appropriate advertising or entertainment services, instead of relying only on your professional role.

Does a trademark also protect my videos and photos?
A trademark identifies the relevant goods or services. Rights in individual content and the associated agreements need separate assessment; filing a trademark does not automatically resolve them.
